GPS attendance

A punch counts only at the workplace.

Draw a circle around your shop, factory or site. Staff can punch in from their own phone only inside it. No machine at the door, no proxy signatures, no punching from home.

Inside the circle: the punch goes through
Outside: blocked, with a clear reason

A biometric machine checks a finger at one door. StaffBee checks the place, at every branch, with the phone your staff already carry.

How it works

Three steps, set up once.

  1. 1

Put your workplace on the map

Search the address or drop a pin, then choose how far the circle reaches, from 50 to 500 m. Add as many workplaces as you have, each with its own circle.

  2. 2

Staff punch from their own phone

The app reads the location once, at the moment of the punch, and shows how far they are from the workplace.

  3. 3

    The server checks again

StaffBee’s server repeats the distance check itself, so a tampered phone can’t slip a punch through. Outside the circle, the punch is blocked.

100 m: a showroom, clinic or restaurant with parking.
Owner dashboard: 18 of 21 staff came in today, with counts for in, late, on leave and absent.
What you see

Who came in, where, and when.

  • Today’s count of in, late, on leave and absent, as it happens
  • Each punch with its time, workplace and distance
  • A flag when someone uses a phone you haven’t approved
  • Supervisors see only their own workplaces and teams
An employee’s month calendar with each day coloured by its status.
What your staff see

One button, and a clear answer.

  • How far they are from the workplace before they punch
  • Their own month: present, late, leave and absent days
  • A plain reason when a punch can’t go through
  • In their own language, from eight Indian languages
Why you can trust it

The rules behind it.

The circle is strict

Outside the radius, the punch is blocked. There’s no “punch anyway” button.

Fake GPS is refused

Fake-location apps and emulators are detected and the punch is refused on the spot.

Checked twice

The phone checks the distance, then the server checks it again on its own.

Works without signal

An offline punch keeps its time and place, and the server checks it when it syncs.

One person, one phone

A sign-in is tied to the phone’s hardware. A new phone waits for your approval.

No tracking

Location is read only at punch time. StaffBee never asks for background location.

Questions

Can someone punch from home?

No. Outside the workplace circle the punch is blocked. If someone really worked off-site, you or a supervisor can mark the day by hand with a reason, and the change is recorded.

Does StaffBee track my staff all day?

No. The location is read once, when someone punches, and never in the background.

I have three branches. Can each have its own circle?

Yes. Add every workplace with its own radius, and assign each person to theirs.

What radius should I choose?

For a shop or office, 50 to 100 m. For a large factory or campus, enough to cover the gate and the far buildings. You can change it any time.
