Works offline

No signal? Still punched in.

Basements, godowns and sites outside town don’t always have internet. StaffBee saves the punch on the phone, with its time and place, and sends it the moment the phone is back online.

An attendance app that needs internet fails exactly where small businesses work.

How it works

Three steps, set up once.

  1. 1

    Staff punch as usual

The location check and the selfie work without internet. The punch is saved on the phone.

  2. 2

    It waits safely

The punch keeps the time it was made, not the time it reaches us. Nothing is lost if the app is closed.

  3. 3

    It syncs by itself

When the phone is back online, StaffBee sends it and the server checks it like any other punch.

What you see

The real punch time, not the upload time.

  • Late marks follow the time of the punch
  • Every synced punch is checked again on the server
  • No missing days because the shop’s Wi-Fi was down
What your staff see

A clear “saved” message.

  • A note that the punch is saved on the phone
  • It sends itself; there’s nothing to retry
  • Their month fills in once it syncs
Why you can trust it

The rules behind it.

Same checks, later

An offline punch still has to pass the geofence and fake-location checks.

The server decides

If a punch fails the server’s own check when it arrives, it isn’t counted and the person is told.

Questions

How long can a phone stay offline?

Punches wait on the phone until it’s back online. Connect at least once a day so your dashboard stays up to date.

What if the phone is switched off before it syncs?

The punch is stored on the phone, so it’s sent the next time the app opens with internet.

Attendance that works where you work.
